Mixing Up How You Use Your Whey Powder

Below she has provided us with a few very EASY recipes utilising giant sports whey protein powder to help create some variability with your daily nutritional routine. 

The core ingredient to these recipes is a whey protein powder. Protein powders provide a very easy, delicious source of high quality protein. They are very cheap, very flexible and low calorie.

PRO-OATS

Protein Oats

INGREDIENTS:

  • 50g Oats
  • 160ml-170ml Coconut Milk
  • 1 Scoop Giant Sports Banana Whey
  • 20g Peanut Butter 

METHOD:

  • Mix oats and coconut milk into a  bowl and place in a microwave for 2 minutes
  • Mix Giant Sports protein in and add peanut butter on top

 

BANANA BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE

Banana blueberry smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

  • 100g Frozen Banana
  • 50g Frozen Blueberries
  • 170ml Coconut Milk
  • 1 Scoop Giant Sports Banana Whey
  • 20g Peanut Butter 

METHOD:

  • Add coconut milk to blender first, followed by the remainder of the ingredients and blend for 40 seconds on HIGH speed.

 

BANANA PROTEIN PANCAKE

Banana Protein Pancakes

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 40g Oats
  • 1/2 Banana (50g)
  • 100ml Egg Whites
  • 1 Scoop Giant Sports Banana Whey
  • Pinch of cinnamon 
  • 1 tbs baking powder 
  • 30ml Water

METHOD:

  • Add all the ingredients to a blend and blend until it becomes a thick liquid. 
  • Pour into a pan and cook until golden brown on a low-medium heat.
